Today we had lovely guests from Cambridgeshire YFC on on Scotland Farm. We hope you enjoyed your visit!
We’ve got the builders in making some updates to Scotland Farm. Today has been all about power harrows and diggers. Even Flyn, James’ trusty shadow gets in on the action.
Excellent to have Huntingdon NFU members join us here at Scotland Farm for a site visit. Great bunch of people.
Well done to our team for showing them around.
For those that don’t know, the Farmhouse on Scotland Farm is going through a huge renovation. For the past 25 or so years, James has had a vision and it’s now in progress! We were always told that it was built from another house in the village and a real mish-mash. The pebble dash render has been coming off today, the bricks are beautiful but sadly have deteriorated. So render will be going back on to protect it…will it or won’t it be pebble dash again!
James recenly attended NRoSO training session delivered by Hutchinsons – a great way for him to collect 10 NRoSO points from his armchair!
It was not a usual Christmas party for us as our lovely employee Norman is retiring. We’ll miss him hugely but hope you enjoy your well-deserved retirement Norman – we will miss you!
Our team had a nice surprise as Santa arrived in style at the farm. Of course, elves accompanied Santa. But who is really Santa? Names on a postcard.
Yesterday, our team had a great occasion to improve their knowledge of the industry by attending CropTec. A great opportunity to study hard for their NRoSO top-up points.
Today we welcomed some guests. This big flock of ducks flew in and took some time to enjoy some ‘snacks’ left for them. They did a fantastic job sweeping up – no intervention needed by the existing team!
