Full Time Permanent Position – position now filled
We’re expanding our agricultural operations and are looking to increase our team of drivers to complement our existing team. HGV’s are an integral part of our farming business loading from chaser bins and beet cleaners. We are looking for drivers with an interest and understanding of agriculture. You will be working alongside the farm team to aid the farming operations and working out of Dry Drayton.
- July – September: Grain harvest, moving grain from field to store following the combine movements
- September: Potato harvest, moving potatoes from the field to store
- October – February: Sugar beet harvest, moving beet from the field to one of three British Sugar factories. Assisting with the loading of the sugar beet
- March – June: Fertiliser and seed movements from manufacturer to store and from store to field. This will be in curtain siders and tankers
Working Pattern
- July – September: Grain harvest available to work 7 days a week. Weather dependant
- October – February: Sugar beet harvest Monday to Friday plus one day every other weekend
- March – May: Monday to Friday, no weekends
- There are no nights out in this role
Salary and Benefits
- Attractive salary of £36,054
- You would be allocated a dedicated lorry and trailer
- 30 days holiday including bank holidays

Experience Required
- Bulk tipper experience preferred
- HGV class 1, DQC and digital tacho card essential
- Rough terrain forklift and EPIC card would be an advantage
