Hedge cutting and Topping

Hedge cutting is carried out generally in January and February to help advance wildlife and berries on hedgerows. Hedge cutting can be done from 1st August to 31st December if required by customer. Grass topping is done by hydraulic folding, rotary mowers and flail.

Countryside Management, Environmental Stewardship

PX Groundcare can assist landowners and farmers to deliver effective environmental management on their land to gain funding from the Environmental Stewardship Scheme.

Woodland Management

Planting woodland is seen as a positive way to contribute to the environment and the long term stability of native wildlife. Landowners and farmers who currently have woodland areas can benefit from our felling and pruning services and for those who are looking to create a woodland on their land PX Goundcare can advise landowners on were to apply for funding and help with the tree planting.

Saw Mill

We are currently looking into purchasing a saw mill, to enable us to fell trees and use the wood for fencing and Yorkshire boarding. This will then reduce the cost of repairing and maintaining existing farm buildings or help towards erecting new farm buildings.
