Horse Tracks

Riding map

If you are looking for somewhere safe and picturesque to ride then P.X. Farms has preserved grass tracks to offer approximately 15 miles of bridle ways over 3 different farms. Riders wishing to make use of these rides must complete a membership form which deals with the Code of Conduct – ensuring the safety of both horse and rider.

The annual membership fee of £300.00 will go towards the preservation and improvement of the bridle ways. Limiting riders will reduce risks and damage to the surrounding farmland. P.X. Farms will undertake regular rides to ensure there are no obstructions and all routes are safe.  Maps with clearly marked horse paths and membership passes are given to members when they join.

Shooting imagesP.X. Farms Shoot

The shoot area covers 3,000 acres of mainly arable land just west of Cambridge with farm cropping rotated through oilseed rape, wheat and spring beans. With areas of woodland perfect for roost shoots, we are able to offer conditions for an enjoyable shoot through all seasons.  The syndicate is for Shotguns and Air Rifles only - we do not permit the use of rifles.

In order to shoot you require a valid membership, currently £192.00 p.a. (incl. VAT), along with a current BASC membership - we offer a discount to become a full BASC member. Our shoot protocol ensures that everyone involved in the shoot, whether working, participating or walking in the general area, has their Health and Safety protected at all times. Once you are a member you will be able to turn up and shoot on the farms 364 days a year between the times given in the shoot protocol.

Regular notices are provided to members of known issues to ensure you get the most from your membership.

Ferreting is also permitted by prior agreement and we pay a fee per rabbit returned to the home farm.
